Regardless of the neighborhood you live in, recovering from the May 16th tornado will be a collective community effort that we're taking on in lots of ways. Based on unment needs, we're working with partners and key stakeholders in the affected neighborhoods to cultivate volunteer and donation opportunities in order to better support the needs of affected residents.
Current Unmet Needs
- Uninsured home repairs to make damaged homes safe and livable
- Essential items replaced; basic household goods not covered by other aid
- Mental health and guidance; counseling, case-management, and paperwork
Where to Donate
Monetary donations to recognized disaster relief organizations help fund response and recovery efforts, obtain goods and services locally and provide direct financial assistance to disaster survivors to meet their own needs. Donations to disaster relief organizations support recovery efforts, local services, and direct assistance for those affected.
